Thursday, October 10:
Today, we became real scientists of genetics because we visited the Museum of genetics.
Three scientists found the existence of genetics.
Mostly Mendel which was a good person, he wanted to serve the world with his experiments.
He failed all the competitive exams to become a teacher but his parents were behind him to support him.
I really liked this museum because I learned a lot and the guide was nice 😄
The place is a Monaster were Mendel lived his whole life and it’s the place where genetics were founded too.
Mendel wrote a book « Experiments on Plant Hybridisation ». In his book, he explained all his experiments in the aim to allow people to have a better understanding about genetics.
Mendel was a very good scientist to describe his experiences so the actual results can be found in almost every book of modern biology or genetics. We can say « thank you » to Mendel !
The afternoon was pretty cool because we had a break with my friends. We visited some shops. And I was upset because I thought that prices would be weaker but finally it was almost the same than in France.
We went in a sort of coffee with Ilona, Capucine and Malo. Capucine and I took a cheesecake with a cookie on it. It was pretty good but servers were not very kind. It was complicated to talk with them, they were not understanding with us and they seemed angry.
Maybe they are shy or discreet. We think that the communist mentally stay during all the generation and they keep a distance from each other.
Maybe French people are too extroverts ?
