Day 3 – The tower clock

After we have met Czech students , we went for a walk in Brno city . We finally got to know each other and visited the main square. On this square there was a small tower like a bullet: it’s a modern clock
This has a story: after losing the war, the Brno’s inhabitants were ordered by swedish army to leave their city at noon.
The Czech pepole wanted them to leave early, so they rang the bells at 11:00.
To remember this story, the Czech pepole built this small tower with a clock shape . The top of this tower turns and at the bottom, there are holes to pass our hands and every day at 11:00, we can catch small items falling from the top of the tower.
I would have liked to live this experience , but i arrived too late. What a pity!!
