Our time in Hustopeče

Hello. I finally know, how to add something to your blog, so now I can publish all my articles 🙂. As the first, I want to writte about things, that we did together in Hustopeče. I was with students from France everyday (except Wednesday) and I really enjoied it. I learned lots of new things too (for example about Gregor Mendel or about our national dances wich I´ve never tried before!). But the best day was Friday for me. We spent many hours together, in our school, in school cantine. And in the evening, we cooked together French and Czech traditional meals. Everyone in the kitchen tried to help and there was friendly atmosphere. Many people liked my poteoes goulash, so I was really happy :). I liked Crêpes with nutella and whipping cream, it was delicious. After the dinner, we went downstairs, to the dancing room. My classmates prepared there a little party. It was great, thank you. Sasha

And as I promised, here is the recipe of gulash! 🙂

Potatoes goulash

Hello everyone, I translated the recipe of goulash for you. AND if you will try to make it, please, send me a photo of your goulash on Instagram (alexandra.josefikova), Facebook or email saska.jos@seznam.cz. Thank you.

You will need:

  • potatoes (as much as you want)
  • sausages
  • oil (to the pot bottom, just a little)
  • onion (one onion per one sausage!)
  • garlic (it depends on how much do you like garlic, but it is good for goulash)
  • goulash spicy (whole pack!)
  • sweet red pepper and marjoram (add more and more until the taste and colour will be good)
  • broth or bouillon cube
  • fleur
  • salt
  • pepper
  1. cut the onion on small pieces and put it into the pot with oil. wait until the onion will be light brown. during the waiting cut sausages (as you like) and potatoes.
  2. add sausages into the pot and start frying. you need to take fat from sausages off (for the sauce)
  3. add potatoes and marjoram and fry for a while.
  4. add water and broth (or bouillon cube if you want), everything must be sunk
  5. add the other spices
  6. wait until all potatoes will be soft and add salt is and pepper, if you want.
  7. mix flour and water in a mug and put it into the pot (if you don´t use it, the goulash will be more like soup)
  8. Bon appetite! 😊
Tip: if you don´t have any more goulash spicy, add more sweet red pepper, garlic or marjoram (just what you like the goulash will be, try new thinks! 😊)
