A few minutes before the noon, we arrived to the French school – Agrocampus La Germinière. My first feeling was that it’s huge. Way bigger than our school. However, I liked it. The school is located in a calm place not far from Le Mans.
It was the exact time to have a lunch in France. So we went visited the school canteen for the first time. That was another surprise for me. It was very differemt from ours. They had starters, main courses and desserts. I’m used to have just a soup with main course.
After the lunch we went by bus to the centre of Le Mans. We saw the famous Roman walls, Cathedral of St. Julians and Republic Square. I enjoyed the time in the city enormously. I love the old architecture of Le Mans.
On the Republic Square we had some free time to go wherever we want. We visited a church called Notre-Dame de la Couture.
Then our French friends showed us local library and cinema.
After our free time, we went back to the school. We took a tram and then a bus. I liked the public transport and I think it was cleaner than in Czechia.
In the school we had a reception by the school director and teachers and a dinner.
At the very end of the day, we went to our hotel. I really enjoyed the rest after just a few hours of sleeping in the bus indeed.
