After waking up from a long, peaceful sleep, we hopped on to our bus, and drove to the school canteen. It was quite weird, seeing darkness outside (in this time of the year, back in czechia, sun is still rising before any of us wake up.)

After the breakfast, our class boarded the bus along with the french students. Our desired destination were the famous beaches of Normandie, where the allied forces landed in 1944. Even though the journey took two hours both ways, it was nothing compared to the distance we travelled from our home.
In Normandie, we visited several beaches, admired architecture of Arromanches (wich again, looked like a movie set), and even visited the memorial and museum dedicated to canadian soldiers participating in the d day.
Afterwards, we drove back, and had a dinner. All of us finished the evening by playing « blind test ». As far as i know, we haven’t ever played anything like this. It was quite fun though, and most of us had a great time.
