After the breakfast we got on the bus. We went towards another huge adventure.
In circa 3 hours we were standing in a small Normandian town called Arromanches. It is located on the west coast of France by La Manche. This area has truly famous history. Events of Normandy landings took place right on the local beaches.
Once we looked through the city, we went further along the coast. We saw another monuments of D-Day as it is called.

We also visited Juno Beach Centre – there’s a museum and two bunkers from WWII. I liked the museum, because there were a plenty of interactive exhibits. And I also liked the bunkers – there are a lot of interesting facts about them.

At the end we took a walk across the beach. I was really excited about being on place that changed history.

Then we went back to the school. We had a dinner and evening programme – song guessing. Actually, I didn’t like it a lot because these types of programmes are not my cup of tea and I was tired. However, I’m glad the other people enjoyed it.
