A Walk through plants

Wednesday, October 9:
Yesterday night, when I came back to Nathalia’s home, I spoke with their parents. They asked me if the food was good and I responded that the meal at the cantine was not my type but the food at the restaurant was pretty good.
They were very happy to see me, and I was happy to see them too.
I was pretty sad this morning because it was my last wake up in Nathalia’s house.
When I went to eat the breakfast, I saw that she prepared me eggs. How can we start a better day ? I was quite hungry so I ate a sandwich with ham and tomatoes too. I told her that it was very different from France because a lot of French don’t take the time to eat in the morning, just used to drink a coffee and go to work after.
We started the day by the visit of a winery. The smell was weird but we had the right to taste some glass of typical juices (grape, peach)
We all loved the grape juice because it was sweet.
We also visited an high school specialized in wine production.
This high school has a special history for it’s creation. Czech government decided to create it in the middle of the 18th century because the region had been devastated by a biological illness which had attacked the vineyards. So they make sure winemakers were able to identify the illness and take care of their grapes, the school was planed and opened. Since then, it remains the only school specialized in wine of all Czech Republic.
But there are only 200 pupils and there is a lack of well trained professionals.
After that, we visited some castles and gardens. They were in reconstruction so they seem brand new.
The gardens were particularly big and very beautiful. In Lednice, we also visited the greenhouse with a lot of plants and some fishes.
This greenhouse is not a greenhouse like others because it’s the older of all Europe. So we can say that we are very lucky to have visited these greenhouse and we’ll never forget this !
I appreciated this little walk through vegetation, it was a relaxing moment.
