Simillar to tuesday, there was a full-day trip planned out. All that was left for us was to sit through the drive in a bus once again. The students, both czech and french, each got their lunchbag, found themselves a cozy seat, and along with the teachers, departed from la Germinière.

The first stop – a wineyard by the name of Ackerman. It is a big complex of caves, they use to store (and even produce in the past) their products.

We were shown many interesting things all about the production of sparkling wine, and more. For example, an art exhibition done by several artists, in the cave itself. Such a magical experience!

Next thing on the agenda was the castle of Saumur (unfortunatelly, I did forgot its true name, so I’ll use this one instead, very sorry for that).

We got a guided tour, and found out about the castle’s history, owners, and past renovations.
Lastly, we went down from the castle, to the city. There, all of us boarded on a sightseeing boat, ang for the next hour, our eyes gazed upon a beautiful scenery all around us.

After landing back on the coast, it was finally time to head back from this trip. And what a great trip it was!
